Thank you for considering Walls of Clay, we are thrilled to host a field trip for your summer program.   Walls of Clay has been in downtown McKinney for 19+ years and have worked with hundreds of groups over the years.  We are not a franchise, but rather family owned business and appreciate your business – we are in business to create smiles and provide a quality creative experience for all ages.

PROJECT:

Pottery: Ice Cream Bowl ~ $10 per painter

Bubbles are always fun and used to create this cool design on an ice cream bowl. Painters can pick their “flavor”; strawberry, mint chocolate chip or blue ice. Or you can choose our sweet summer watermelon theme. All pieces are food safe after they are kiln-fired – so fun AND functional. Bowls will be ready for pickup in 10 – 14 days.

What is required to reserve a date and time?

A non-refundable deposit per date is required, we cannot hold a date without a deposit.  PLEASE NOTE:  All deposits WILL BE APPLIED TOWARDS YOUR FINAL BALANCE, THE DAY OF THE EVENT.  Deposits are non-refundable.  However, if you are unable to attend the date reserved and notify us at least 72 hours in advance, we will gladly work with you to reschedule one time with no penalty.  Deposits can only be transferred to like events, not for open studio credit.  No shows will not be refunded or credited.

How much is the non-refundable deposit per date scheduled (deposits will be applied towards the final balance)?

$  50; groups up to 12

$150; groups 13 – 50

$200; groups 50 – 75

$250; groups 76 – 150

What is the minimum number required?

We are hosting your event outside of normal studio hours and extending a discounted rate to your group and therefore have a strict minimum requirement of 20 painters. You, the organizer\host\hostess is financially responsible for meeting the minimum number of twenty (20) attendees regardless of their attendance.

When and how do I pay the balance?

The balance is due at the end of your event when we tally up the total number of kids in attendance.  We accept cash and all major credit cards.  Checks are NOT accepted for final payment.

Due to the nature of kiln-fired arts, slight imperfections can occur. And on rare occasions, kiln fired pieces can crack, shatter or do the unexpected during the firing process. While we take every precaution to ensure that this does not happen, there are some factors that are beyond our control. If a piece cracks or shatters, a credit will be issued along with a ginormous apology because we hate to see bad things happen to your creations.
