Step 1: Select Your Glass Base
This is the size and color of your first layer of glass. Just about everything is built on a base and pieces are priced according to their base size. Most common bases are 6″ squares, 8″ squares, 10″ squares and 3.25″ bases for night lights. We also have suncatchers available in 8″ x 2″. Base colors are available in clear, white or black. Prices start around $29 + tax.
Step 2: Decorate Your Base
This is where the fun begins and it’s contagious! What’s that you say? You have no idea where to start? Use one of our many samples, Pinterest or Google for some creative glass fusing inspiration. Oh, and the staff is on hand to get you started. We will show you how to nip, zip (score) and break glass. We have over 30 colors of glass and a huge variety of shapes from pre-cut bits, jelly beans & buttons, buffalo chips, strips, stringers, noodles, rods, frit and gems. Overwhelmed yet? Don’t be! With just one visit, you will be hooked, familiar with the lingo and an awesome glass fusing artist.
Step 3: We Fuse It
When you’re done, leave everything and we’ll clean up! Can you believe how cool “warm” glass can be? Your glass will be fired in-house and will be ready for pick up in about 14 days.
